Trying to find myself again..

Play Time Is Over!

When I first decided to start blogging, I had all these awesome ideas. Somehow, I got sucked into following the crowd, posting all the frivolous, cute, mushy, girly stuff. That’s not me, not at all. It was fun for a while, an escape from the reality of this thing we call life. But important issues are begging me to give them a voice.

I may not blog often and I’m sure there will be some funny stories thrown in the mix of what it’s like to be a mom to a teenage boy with autism, the bittersweet thoughts of my children whom have left this earth entirely too soon, the memories of a very emotionally abusive marriage, and the juggling act it is everyday to try to find time to create my art, invent new recipes for my son and try to remember not to lose my mind.

Today, I’ve thought a lot about my children who have already gone to heaven. I miss them.

While I was gone getting pizza (without sauce because my oldest is allergic to the onions and garlic in it) he made homemade pizza sauce entirely from scratch following my recipe. It’s funny how autism has plateus.. It holds him captive for a while but then releases it’s grip and he learns so much overnight and comes out of his shell more and more. I’m anxiously awaiting the day autism loses this battle with my son!!

99% means we are the 99% of Americans who are not billionaires. The movement is to bring to light that the hard working people have been ripped off by Wall Street Executives who committed fraud and caused the entire global recession the world is currently suffering from.
